And who are the "friends?"
Guitar, Flute, Whistle, Mandolins, Tenor Banjo and Vocals
A Tampa Bay Area resident, Don grew up in the Irish musical tradition that is so vibrant a part of his native New England. He is a popular session musician who, when not performing with Marcille Wallis & Friends, "pinch-hits" in a number of Celtic bands. In 2011, Don teamed with Marcille and Matt to release their first live recording, simply titled "Marcille Wallis & Friends Live!" Their newest offering is a studio recording entitled "Step Forward."
Miller Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolins
Resident of Freeport, Florida, Matt -- in addition to his Celtic/bluegrass work with Marcille Wallis & Friends -- is a much-sought-after sideman who also plays country, rock and jazz styles. He has a number of fiddle titles to his credit; among them, the 2008 Florida State Bluegrass Fiddle Champion and 2004 Florida State Fiddle Champion. Matt had recorded with Marcille three times previous to "Step Forward"; he's the feature fiddler on both "Marcille Wallis & Friends Live!" and "Timeless" as well as guest fiddler on "A Celtic Heritage".

Some History ...
Translated from Irish, "ceol binn" means "sweet music". In the Spring of 1997, the Ceol Binn band was founded by Marcille Wallis and Anthony Delle Donne. A revolving collective of musicians with Marcille and her hammer dulcimer as its nucleus, Marcille Wallis & Ceol Binn performed for nine years at some of the biggest venues and events in the Southeastern United States, including North Carolina's Biltmore Estate, Burns Nicht with the Memphis (TN) Scottish Society, and Walt Disney World's Epcot Center (FL). In 2006, the band changed its name to Marcille Wallis & Friends. They have become well-known for their audience-friendly and interactive performances: rousing sing-alongs interspersed with tender vocals, tight instrumentation, and thrilling choreographed dance numbers.
